As someone who loves to get her hands dirty making as well as designing, Fiona is a Bristol based Set and Costume Designer theatre and film. She works mostly with theatre companies in Bristol and London but also has experience designing for short films, opera and dance. She enjoys working on unique projects that combine her passion for design with her love of dance and music and desire to work with companies across the UK and Ireland.
Fiona trained at the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne in 2012 and recently completed a Masters year at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Fiona embraces sustainability, venue foibles and collaboration with colleagues to help drive her design creativity. She enjoys developing a united aesthetic to fit the unique demands of each production.
Her recent UK works; A Trio of Tennessee Williams for Fox and Hound Theatre Company, 100 books to read before you die and Ragedom, for RCSSD, La Voix Humaine and The Telephone for Opera on the Move and Caligula and the Sea at the final Vaults Festival with Yuxuan Liu.
