Beautiful Thing is the story of two young lads, Jamie and Ste, who live on the Thamesmead Estate in south east London and who happen to fall in love. Back in the early 90s,  there are no mobiles, no internet and certainly no phones with internet. We follow the boys' story, as a summer heatwave London ignites the flames of first love.

The majority of the story is told on the doorsteps of the apartments on the estate where the boys live interspersed with moments of love and laughter in Jamie's bedroom.
